Kayla Dragseth, LPC

Kayla was born and raised in central Minnesota, where her passion for helping others began early in life. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Community Psychology in 2019 and a Master of Science in School Counseling from St. Cloud State University in 2023. Following graduation, she launched her career as a school counselor in West Fargo, North Dakota, where she spent a few years providing support to students and families across a variety of academic, emotional, and social needs.

During her time in the school system, Kayla developed a deep appreciation for the complexities of human development and the importance of creating supportive environments for all individuals to thrive. Her experiences strengthened her belief in the power of connection, empathy, and advocacy—especially for those navigating life’s challenges.

Now a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Kayla is excited to bring her experience into private practice. She has a special interest in working with children, adolescents, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Kayla is committed to fostering a warm, inclusive, and affirming space where clients of all backgrounds feel seen, heard, and empowered. She approaches therapy with a person-centered, trauma-informed lens and believes in collaborating with clients to support their individual goals and growth.

Outside of her professional work, Kayla enjoys traveling, exploring her creativity through arts and crafts, and spending quality time with friends and family. She is also a dog lover and enjoys the companionship and joy that pets bring to everyday life.
